951 Remote User Codes

The Remote User Codes menu is used to program remote user codes for remote users 1 to 7. Remote users can access their system with SmartLink700 (an up/download application) at an off-site or remote location. Each remote user code is required to be 4-6 digits in length. The digit 0 is not allowed. New codes must be verified in order to be accepted.

952 Remote User Names

Remote User Names; user names enable more detailed information to be displayed in the system log.

953 Remote User Options

Remote User Options; each remote user can be assigned a number of options. These are explained as follows:

  • Call back enables the panel to make a call to one of its pre-programmed remote user phone numbers in the event that the Digi has received an incoming call from a number that it recognises.
note

Please verify that caller ID is enabled on the phone line that you intend to use this feature on and that it functions properly.

  • With Rem. Set set to NO, SmartLink700 is prevented from remotely setting (or arming) the panel.

  • With Rem. Unset set to NO, SmartLink700 is prevented from remotely unsetting the panel.

954 Remote User Phones

Remote User Phones; each remote user can have their phone number programmed into the system. This number must be programmed to allow the system...

  1. Recognise Caller ID in order to call back SmartLink700
  2. Recognise Caller ID in order to answer an incoming call and finally...
  3. Call SmartLink700 as a result of the 0*3 quick key option.
